Employer Brand Management Conference 2016

November 28th, 2016

I’m thrilled to be a media partner of Transform Magazine’s Employer Brand Management conference. It’s a topic I’ve talked about at length with fellow IC pros so I can’t wait to hear from the varied and prestigious line up of speakers.

And as a media partner, I’m able to offer readers of my blog 10% off their ticket. Simply use the code DEV10.

So, what is employer brand?

Employer brand is how an organisation is perceived as an employer by potential employees. It’s about communicating company values, culture and brand to attract top talent.

As an internal communicator, I’m particularly interested in the role of employees play in this, especially on social media, as it’s never been more important that the image you project externally is reflected internally. You can read my thoughts on this in my recent blog for Alive with ideas.

I think this topic will continue to feature heavily in the conversations we have in our organisations and form a bigger part of the internal communication role.

What you need to know about the conference

Taking place on 6 December 2016 at 30 Euston Square, London, the conference will be covering the following topics:

  • What impact does rebranding have on the employer brand?
  • Maximising corporate value through the employer brand
  • Post M&A employer brand management
  • Change and the white heat of technology
  • The employer brand in a new European landscape
  • The role of employer brand in recovering a damaged reputation
  • Disruption and the entrepreneurial business
  • The new CEO

Speakers include Aviva, Pearson, Unilever, Odeon, Dixons Carphone Warehouse, Diageo, and many more – you can read the full programme on the Transform Magazine website.

To secure your place, and to get 10% off your ticket price, simply enter my discount code DEV10 when you book.

I hope to see many of you there and look forward to chatting all things employer brand – and don’t forget, if you can’t be there in person, join the discussion on Twitter by using the hashtag #EBMConf.
